Claudi Arimany was born in Granollers (Barcelona). He is considered one of the most prestigious Catalan soloists with an important career of great international projection.

Natural Piano of San Sebastián, obtains the superior title of piano, harpsichord and chamber music in the conservatory of this city with excellent qualifications and several honorary prizes. His teachers were Teresa Garcia Piudo, Jesús Fagoaga, Jesús González and Loreto F. Imaz, and he also received classes from Pedro Espinosa and Françoise Doué. He completed his training with piano courses (Dimitri Bashkirov, Manuel Carra, Fausto Zadra, Ana Guijarro, Rita Wagner and Ferenc Rados), accompanist pianist (Miguel Zanetti and Félix Lavilla), harpsichord (Jacques Ogg, Michael Bëhringer, Mar Tejadas, Jan Willen Jansen, Christine Whiffen and Arthur Haas) and chamber music (Bruno Canino, Trio Mompou and Marta Gulyas).
