Founded in 2018 by violinist Maria Tió, cellist Ferran Bardolet and pianist Ricard Rovirosa, the Tempus Trio, despite its short history, is already recognized by critics and the public as one of the most promising of its generation. , cultivating important successes in different international competitions and contests, including the first prize of the International Music Competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso" 2019 in Brussels, the Platinum Medal (first prize) of the "WPTA Singapore International Music Competition" 2019 and the Silver Medal at the “2nd Vienna International Competition 2020”, in the specialty of chamber music. This season, they have been selected as a resident group of the "Association of Performers of Spain" (AiE) for a concert tour throughout Spain.
Currently, the Tempus Trio is pursuing a Master's in Chamber Music at the prestigious Universiät Mozarteum in Salzburg with Professor Cibrán Sierra Vázquez, violinist of the Quiroga Quartet.
Maria, Ferran and Ricard are three musicians who, individually, have trained in the best musical institutions with great teachers such as Joan Havill (Guildhall School of Music and Drama), Albert Atenelle (Barcelona Trio), Vera Martínez Mehner ( Casals Quartet) and Natalia Shakhovskaya (Queen Sofia School of Music). His individual career has also been recognized with multiple awards in national and international competitions, accumulating extensive concert experience, having performed in major concert halls. from Europe, Asia and America, on tours that have received public and critical acclaim and the attention of major audiovisual media.
