ALBERT MAMRIEV, piano
Critics have called Albert Mamriev "pure virtuosity" (North Kurier) or "the great romantic spirit" (Daily Telegraph).
Born in Dagestan, he studied piano with his father Jankel Mamriev and with A. Bakulov and S. Dorensky in Moscow, as well as with A. Vardi in Tel Aviv and Hanover.
He has established himself as one of the most versatile pianists of his generation . Awarded in numerous international competitions , he has performed with renowned orchestras under the baton of prestigious conductors . He has also performed at the most prestigious festivals around the world in the cities of Beijing, Berlin, Brussels, Dallas, Glasgow, Granada, London, Madrid, Paris, among many others.
He teaches Master-Classes regularly in Europe and is invited to take part in numerous international competitions. He has recorded the entirety of Liszt's transcripts of Wagner's works and is also often present on radio and television .
He is the founder of several international competitions , one of which is aimed at young performers.
