PAOLO ANGELUCCI, violin
He began his violin studies at an early age under the guidance of his grandfather, Maestro N. Valentinetti. He later studied with F. Mezzena, A. Anselmi, E. Pellegrino, I. Grubert, M. Mumelter and N. Beilina in Italy and Switzerland, and chamber music with Maestro E. Hubert, P. Di Egidio and L. Cerroni.

He graduated with honors in 2001, 2007 and 2011 in Musical Disciplines (Violin and Composition and Performance of Chamber Music) at the University of Teramo, and in 2009 in Instrumental Teaching.

Winner of numerous national and international competitions, he has performed as a soloist and conductor with national and international orchestras. He has toured Hungary, Switzerland, France, Spain, Russia, Lithuania, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany.

German critics have described him as "endowed with a moving sound..." ( Heilbronner Stimme ); and also: "[…] Paolo Angelucci has a personal way of playing, full of temperament [...]. In his energetic and extremely sensitive hands, the violin replaces bel canto and the sound takes on a life of its own [...]" ( Rhein-Necker Stimme ).

He has recorded for RAI 1, RAI 2 and RAI International, as well as for local television stations, collaborating with internationally renowned artists such as R. Cocciante, Ron, L. Willis, M. Quarta and M. Maisky. He has also recorded for the Gallirecords, GPM, BluRecords, Buena Suerte, AdS Produzioni and EvenTea labels.

He has been concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra Città di Ortona «G. Albanese", from the Accademia dello Spettacolo String Orchestra, from the NOA, from the Ensemble "A. Lecouvreur", by the Fonderie Sonore Symphony Orchestra and the Accademia Harmoniae Ensemble. He is currently concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Pescara Academy of Arts and of the European Peace Orchestra.

His versatility has led him to experiment with jazz, new tango and popular music. Former violinist of the Cuarteto del Angel, he currently develops an intense activity with Tea for Four, Les tZiganes and the Cuarteto del Misterio.

He studied Choral Conducting with Maestro JM Sciutto and Orchestral Conducting with Maestro S. Genuini and D. Renzetti. He is the principal conductor of the Tosti Sinfonic Orchestra, the Orchestra I Giovani Accademici and the Youth Orchestra "G. Chiarini" of Chieti.

He has conducted the F. Fenaroli Classic Ensemble, the OST String Orchestra and the EMF Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing in prestigious theaters and concert halls such as the Teatro Marrucino in Chieti, the Teatro Rossetti in Vasto, the Teatro Fenaroli in Lanciano, the Teatro Tosti in Ortona, the Teatro Comunale in Colfontaine (Belgium), the Theater of the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels (Belgium), the Mayakovski Hall in Prague (Republic Czech), the Hall of Mirrors in Bratislava (Slovakia), the Sala degli Affreschi of the Società Umanitaria in Milan, the Vasto Film Festival and the PIF in Castelfidardo.

He has collaborated with important musicians and personalities from the world of entertainment, including Leila Shirvani, Michele Placido, Daniele Orlando, Andrej Kurti, Cesare Chiacchiaretta and Mimmo Locasciulli.

Composer and arranger, he has written music for the Teatro del Krak, the Assodeon Teatro, the EMF and for the musical tale Extravarius by the musicologist Donatella Melini, on the occasion of the 2009 Southern Italy Lutieria Biennale.

He is a professor at the SMIM "G. Chiarini" in Chieti and at various institutes in the province of Chieti. He is also a professor at the Accademia dello Spettacolo, where he teaches advanced courses in classical violin and jazz violin.

MARCO COLACIOPPO, piano
Marco Colacioppo studied piano with Nicola Calabrese and Nazzareno Carusi, graduating in piano and harpsichord at the Conservatories "S. Cecilia" in Rome and "L. D'Annunzio" in Pescara, respectively. He later obtained, with honors (110/110 e lode), the higher degree in musical disciplines specializing in chamber music.

His artistic and cultural training was further enriched thanks to contact with Viktor Merzhanov, professor at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Alexander Lonquich, Paul Badura-Skoda, the renowned pianist Jörg Demus in Austria, and Pier Narciso Masi at the prestigious International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola.

He has performed as a soloist and member of various chamber ensembles in important theaters and concert cycles in Italy, the United States, Argentina, Russia, Hungary, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and Lithuania, and is regularly invited to be part of the juries of various national and international competitions.

Chosen by Fernando Suárez Paz, violinist of the famous "Quinteto Nuevo Tango" founded by Astor Piazzolla, it has performed in important Italian and international theaters. In Lugano, the Suárez Paz Quartet offered a recital recorded live at the headquarters of Radio della Televisione Svizzera Italiana (RSI – Rete 2), and with this same formation it recorded live in Piacenza, in 2008, the CD El Alma de Piazzolla , which obtained a remarkable reception from the public and was distinguished with the prestigious Orpheus Music Award 2011.

Marco Colacioppo performed at the 46th edition of the "Premio Campiello 2008", presented by Bruno Vespa and Claudia Gerini at the La Fenice Theatre in Venice and broadcast live on Rai 1.

He has also performed and collaborated with artists such as Richard Galliano, actor and musician Luigi Maio, actress Paola Gassman, Luigi Piovano, Massimo Spadano, Paolo Morena, Enrico Fagone, Corrado Giuffredi, Walter Zagato and Cesare Chiacchiaretta, and has been directed by Domenico Losavio, Marco Zuccarini, Flavio Scogna, Giancarlo De Lorenzo and Eduardo Hubert.

He has recorded several CDs for record labels such as Sterling Records and Da Vinci Classics.
