MATEU PERAMIQUEL, pianist, composer and creator
He began his music studies at the Jazz and Modern Music Classroom of the Liceu de Barcelona. He later graduated in modern piano at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), obtained a master's degree in music for dance and theater at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained a second Master's Degree in Music Direction for Musical Theater at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, United Kingdom.
He has collaborated as a pianist in multiple national and international projects. He has directed the musical 'The book of names' at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the show 'Home and Away' at Off-off Broadway in New York.
Co-founder, together with Mar Puig, of the music and performing arts production company WeColorMusic.
He has won 2 Enderrock awards with the SCCC and 1 ARC Award with 'La banda del coche rojo'.
Together with Mar Puig, they win the JUAN MAYORGA award for Best Authors for BRUNA. With the same musical, they also won several awards for Best Direction and Best Show at different shows and theater competitions from all over Catalonia.
The Barcelona Theater Award should be highlighted as the best family show of the 20-21 season.
