11. Dolmen Riera Pujolar II
Discovery: It was discovered by Enric Carreras and Miquel Dídac Piñero of Geseart in 1987.
Location and environment: Located on a plateau, close to Pujolar stream. It is located on a dominant zone. Bush is the current vegetation. It was a vine grapes cultivation zone. When the dolmen was built, it was most likely a holly oak woods and bushes zone.
Appearance: It is a passage tomb with a short trapezoid chamber and a narrow corridor. Built in schist. There are no tumulus remains, which surely measured around 7 m diameter.
Building era: Second half of IV millennia B.C. (second period of the passage tombs in l’Alt Empordà – Rosselló)
