16. Creus de l'Hospital
Discovery: In 1987 E. Carreras and M. Piñero give them this name due to their proximity with mas de la Granja, known as l’Hospital.
Location and environment: They are located on a coombe, in an area of little dominance, in the middle of a plain. Bush is the current vegetation. The most recent cultivation in the zone was vineyard. Highlight to the nearby cattle track and dry-stone constructions.
Appearance: A slate outcrop, broken sometime after being carved. The insculpture is shallow, made by percussion with a stone tool. There are numerous motifs: lone cup marks, cup marks with grooves and a lot of cruciform shapes.
Building era: An approximate chronology contemporary to the closest dolmens.
