5. Dolmen Mores Altes II
Discovery: It is named by Joan Garriga in 1952.
Location and environment: Located on a plateau, on the slope of Puig del Dijous, very close to the Mores altes I dolmen. It is located on a dominant zone. Holly oak and bush is the current vegetation. The last cultivation in the zone was vineyard.
Appearance: It is a passage tomb with a long trapezoid chamber and a narrow corridor. Built in slate. No cap stones nor cover have been preserved. There is no circular tumulus, which should have been 7-8 m diameter.
Building era: Second half of IV millennia B.C. (second period of the passage tombs in l’Alt Empordà – Rosselló)
